WHAT A GREAT START!

Updated: Nov 10, 2023

Just two months into the new year and we are off to a very great start!

Last year was a season of planting seeds: faith, hope and love.

We have planted faith first in our own hearts and believe God is moving us into greater things. By faith we hired staffs for the Dream Center and by faith the staff also took on the challenges of operating the Dream Center with limited or very little formal education. Only one of the staff have complete college, most are only high school graduates.

We also planted faith into the lives of every students that came through the Dream Center. They got to hear the good news of salvation and God's great love for them. And the Student Center is one great example of God's love for them that God provided the free resources that otherwise they will not have access nor can afford to have.

And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.

Romans 5:5

Hope & Love goes hand in hand when we planted them last year into our hearts and into the hearts of those we are ministering to.

"What I love the most about this place is the love that you can feel as soon as you step into it. And second is the hope it teaches us through the Word of God and Student Center."

- A Hopeful Student

It is so amazing to see the smiles of every student that comes through the Dream Center. And if they can stay here forever, they probably would stay. Many stay until late in the evening and often we have to tell them it is time for us to close shop for the day.

At the Dream Center, these students feel the love of God and just the pure joy of being free. Free to be who they are, study, and have fun. Students make new friends at the Dream Center and it is not hard to understand why they bring their current friends here.

And so the month of January and February brought us an influx of new students. We have seen over 300 students in January and even greater in February with almost 500 students. Truly hope does not disappoint us because God's love is poured out into our hearts and through the work of the Holy Spirit and God's grace we were able to keep the operations of the Dream Center.

It was not easy to keep the Dream Center open as there are many expenses that come with it. But God is building up our faith. Whenever we face uncertainties such as if we will be able to pay for all the expenses, we trust God to provide. When he does, it strengthen our faith and because of it we develop endurance. And endurance produces character that solely rely on God's grace. And we know character produces hope; hope that does not disappoint.

Our hope is daily realized whenever we welcome a new student into the Dream Center. And we still have hope that the number of students visiting us will increase more in the next few months before school ends.

Pastor Edwin welcome and orient new students at the Dream Center

Pray and believe that God will bring more students into the Dream Center so we can share the Gospel to them and help them reach the dream God have put into their hearts. We indeed have a great start with the great increase of students but we know that greater things are yet to come! We look forward for Summer because we know that we will have a number of new believers to baptize! Praise be to God alone! Please prayerfully consider becoming a monthly donor and partner with us in transforming our community one student, one family at a time!
