May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
With all the turmoil and worries of economy, plus all the wars going on around the world it is difficult to see or even experience peace and joy. We tend to work harder and save more for our future. We plan out of worry and put our hope on what we can control.
Yet as follower of Christ we are instructed and exhorted to do just the opposite. We can find so many promises of God in His Word that if we only TRUST and HOPE in Him that we will live a life of joy, peace and full of hope.
Our God of Hope whose promised us through His very name, Immanuel, that He is and will always be with us no matter what we are going through or facing at this moment. May we be in plenty of lack He is with us, maybe alone or with loved ones, He is with us.
As you have put your trust in Him when you asked Him to be your God, Lord, and Savior, allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you and your decision making. Our sure hope rest in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who came on that first Christmas morning to bring us the good news of great joy and peace on earth. Rest and enjoy celebrating this Christmas in faith that our hope is secure because we put our trust in Him; therefore, we can have joy and peace not only this Christmas season but throughout the year.
