“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”— John 17:20–21

This year marks a milestone for Gospel Empowerment Ministry (GEM)—ten years of serving, equipping, and advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As we look back, one theme shines brightly through every season of our journey: unity.
Unity has been at the heart of everything GEM has accomplished. It is not just an organizational value, but a living answer to Jesus’ prayer in John 17:20–21. The unity of God’s people—churches, leaders, families, and individuals—has been the reason we’ve been able to reach beyond our own limitations and make a lasting impact.

A Decade of Unity in Action
Over the past ten years, GEM has had the privilege of partnering with churches, Christian organizations, and individuals. Each partnership has been more than just collaboration; it has been a reflection of Christ’s prayer for His followers to be one.
Local Churches: Pastors and congregations opened their doors and hearts, joining hands in evangelism, church planting, discipleship, and community development.
Mission Partners: Individuals and organizations stepped forward with financial support, resources, and prayer—reminding us that mission is never a solo journey.
Volunteers and Families: Ordinary men and women, young people and elders alike, offered their time, skills, and talents to see the Gospel proclaimed and lived out in communities.
Through this unity, we have seen churches planted, leaders trained, families strengthened, and communities touched by the transforming power of Christ. Each story of impact is not GEM’s story alone—it is the shared story of everyone who chose to walk in unity with us.

The Fruit of Shared Vision
Looking back, we see that every accomplishment—big or small—was possible only because of God’s grace and the unity of His people:
New pastors trained and sent out with boldness.
Churches planted in places hungry for the Gospel.
Families empowered and lifted out of poverty.
Children are fed and nourished.
Communities strengthened through acts of compassion and development.
Youth are discipled, mentored, and trained to be leaders.
Widows, elderlies, and disabled are visited, prayed for and provided food relief packs.
Disaster relief goods distributed to communities throughtout the Philippines whenever natural disaster strikes.
Unity has multiplied our efforts and extended our reach far beyond what we could have imagined on our own. Truly, we have been stronger together.

Looking Ahead: A Call to Unity
While we celebrate a decade of God’s faithfulness, we believe the work is far from finished. The need for the Gospel remains great, and the opportunities before us are many. Just as the last ten years have been marked by unity, so must the next decade.
We invite you to continue standing with us:
Pray for GEM’s leaders, church planters, and partner communities.
Support by sowing into this ministry so more churches can be planted, more leaders trained, and more families transformed as we bring our church planting model into the mainstream.
Share GEM with others—tell friends, churches, and mission-minded individuals about what God is doing through this ministry, so together we can expand the reach of the Gospel.

Together in Christ
As we celebrate GEM’s 10th Anniversary, we echo the prayer of Jesus in John 17—that we may be one, so that the world may believe. The unity that has carried us this far will carry us further still. Thank you for being part of the journey.
Let us continue in unity, for the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom.
